ICMMIC 2026 will be held in Huzhou University in Huzhou, China.
Huzhou Normal College is located in Huzhou City, Zhejiang Province—a nationally recognized historic and cultural city, an important regional center in the Yangtze River Delta, and the birthplace of the concept that “lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets.”The college’s educational history can be traced back to the Qiantangdao Third United County Teachers’ Training Institute established in 1916. It began offering higher education in 1958 and started enrolling undergraduate students in 1994. In 1999, the former Huzhou Normal Junior College, Huzhou Normal School, and Huzhou Teachers’ Training Institute merged to form Huzhou Normal College. In 2000, the former Huzhou Health School was incorporated into the college. From 2012, the college began independently admitting master's degree candidates, and in 2018 it was approved as a master's degree-conferring institution. In 2021, its independent college, Qiuzhen College, was restructured into a public general undergraduate institution named Huzhou University.
The college has successively been honored as a National Civilized Campus, National Civilized Unit, National Model Site for Learning from Lei Feng Activities, National Advanced Collective for Assisting Persons with Disabilities, one of the first pilot universities for the National Programs of Excellence in Medical and Agricultural and Forestry Talent Training, a National Language Promotion Base, a Ministry of Education Heritage Base for Chinese Traditional Culture (Silk), and a pilot demonstration school for applied education in Zhejiang Province. It also took the lead in establishing the National Innovation Alliance for Common Prosperity in Forestry of the Yangtze River Delta, in cooperation with the National Forestry and Grassland Administration.
